Heat Shrink Baking and Shielded Mesh Processing Machines
Heat shrink baking shrinks a sleeve onto a splice or terminal so it seals and strain-relieves the joint. The process variable is not the oven temperature alone but the combination of set temperature, dwell time and airflow — a sleeve can be fully shrunk on the surface and still be cold at the splice. Alongside baking, this family covers the shielded-mesh operations that come with it on shielded cable: separating, brushing, turning and cutting the braid, and threading plastic tube over a finished bundle.
Shrink tubing has a shrink ratio and a wall thickness after recovery, and both change what the joint tolerates. Baking at a temperature above the tubing's rated range produces a visually acceptable sleeve with degraded dielectric properties, which is why dwell time is controlled rather than operator-judged.

Oven geometry follows the harness shape.
Enclosed ovens suit short, repeatable sleeves; overhead and infrared types suit long or awkward assemblies that cannot enter a chamber.
Dwell time is set by the tubing, not by throughput.
Pick the tubing first, then confirm the machine can hold it at temperature for the required time.
Shielded cable needs the braid operation specified separately.
