Terminal Crimping Machines
A terminal crimping machine joins a stripped conductor to a terminal by plastically deforming the terminal barrel around the strands. Crimp quality is set by three things: the applicator or die, the crimp height, and the pull force the finished joint withstands — not by the press force alone. This family spans bench-top presses for low-volume harness shops through fully automatic cut-strip-crimp platforms used in automotive and EV harness production. Turing has built these machines in Dongguan since 2008, and machines dies and applicators in-house on CNC vertical machining centres.
For any given terminal, crimp height is a process window with a lower and an upper limit. Below the window the joint fails in pull test; above it the terminal cracks at the insulation crimp. That window is why crimp height is measured and logged in production rather than set once at commissioning.

Loose terminals, banded strips and reel-fed terminals each require a different feeding method; the press is selected around it.
State the applicator, not just the machine.
Crimp quality follows the applicator and die. If the terminal is proprietary, confirm applicator availability before ordering.
Force repeatability is the servo argument.
Pneumatic presses vary with supply-air pressure; a servo press holds the same stroke and force across a shift.
Decide the inspection tier.
Crimp height measurement and pull testing can be a manual per-batch step or a per-piece in-line function. The second is a different machine.
Sealed connectors change the sequence.
Inserts, plugs and seals must be placed in the correct order relative to the crimp; getting this wrong cannot be corrected downstream.
